The later Kobelco shop manual for the SK430 and SK430LC Mark III, book code S5LS0005E, with sections revised in August 1999. It applies from serial LS00801 and YS00701.
The change that matters is the engine. These machines have the larger Mitsubishi 6D24-TCE1 of 11.9 litres in place of the 6D22.
Check the serial plate first. A machine numbered LS00701 to LS00800, or YS00601 to YS00700, belongs to the earlier book, S5LS0004E.
The revision table at the front shows which sections were updated for the later machines.
