This manual (TM400619, dated April 2013) covers the 6830 and 6930 tractors in both 2WD and MFWD form. Both run a turbocharged, intercooled 6-cylinder diesel, 6.8 L (414 cu in), 106.5 x 127 mm bore and stroke. Up to Model Year 2009, the 6830 is rated at 103 kW (140 hp) and the 6930 at 114 kW (155 hp) at the rated engine speed; John Deere updated the power ratings again from Model Year 2010, with full figures given separately in the specification tables for each era.
This is a full repair manual covering disassembly and rebuild of every system, including features less common on North American tractors of the same era: an air-brake system alongside the hydraulic trailer brake, and a Triple Link Suspension (TLS) front-wheel drive axle with its own dedicated group, illustrated with a 3D animation reference.
This manual applies specifically to the 6830 and 6930 - John Deere publishes this same TM400619 title as a companion to a wider European 6-Series range, so confirm your model before ordering. 1624 pages.
