This is the Technical Manual (TM-1115, November 1986 printing) from John Deere's Dubuque Works, and it's worth knowing exactly which models it pairs together before you start: it covers the 350C and 350D as crawler bulldozers, and separately the 350C and 355D as crawler loaders. In other words, the 350C was built in both bulldozer and loader configurations, while the 350D was offered only as a bulldozer and the 355D only as a loader in this particular manual's scope.
These machines were built with either a gasoline or a diesel engine option, both displacing 179 cubic inches (2.9 L), and the manual covers the complete engine - removal and installation, basic engine teardown and rebuild, lubrication and cooling systems, fuel system, and speed control linkage - for both fuel types side by side, so you'll find the correct procedure whichever engine configuration your machine has.
Past the engine, the manual works through every system on the machine in the standard John Deere section-and-group format: tracks, axles and suspension, transmission, electrical system, power train (engine clutch, transmission, steering clutch and brake, final drive, PTO and winch drive), the full hydraulic system, and the equipment-attaching section covering the dozer blade and loader bucket, frame and boom. A dedicated system testing section at the back walks through diagnostic checks for the engine, electrical system, power train, and hydraulics. For anyone maintaining one of these four closely related crawler machines, this manual has the complete factory procedures for the engine, chassis, and whichever attachment the machine carries.
