One book covers the whole MXM Maxxum line: MXM120, MXM130, MXM140, MXM155, MXM175 and MXM190. This is Case IH Part No. 82999278, also numbered 6-32936. It is the English edition printed in France in January 2006.

Transmissions explained

The MXM was sold with several gearbox options, and the manual covers each one separately:

• Synchro Shift transmission (MXM120 to MXM140)
• Two-Speed Powershift (MXM120 to MXM140)
• Semi-Powershift, 17 x 6 and 18 x 6
• Full Powershift, 17 x 6, 18 x 6 and 19 x 6

Ground speed charts at rated engine speed are included for each setup. They help when you set up a sprayer or a drill.

Engine data

All six models use a 7.5-litre, six-cylinder, turbocharged and intercooled diesel. Rated power runs from 91 kW (122 hp) on the MXM120 to 142 kW (190 hp) on the MXM190. The MXM175 and MXM190 have Power Boost up to 156 kW and 168 kW. Fuel pump types, timing, capacities and torque tables are all in Section 8.
